I’ve lived it
When my family moved back to North Carolina from Colorado, something shifted overnight. One week I was living days that felt full and aligned — time with my daughter, movement, space to breathe. And then almost immediately I fell back into rushed mornings, long work days, barely getting dinner on the table, feeling like I wasn't fully present for any of it.
I was stressed. Frustrated. Running on empty in ways that were showing up in my health, my relationships, and how I felt about myself.
I knew this wasn't how I wanted this season to feel. So I decided to make a change, I did the work. I got coached. I got honest with myself about what I actually wanted. I connected with God to be sure all the work I was doing was aligned with and guided by my faith. I learned about mindset and how much of what I was experiencing was an inside job. And slowly — through the smallest shifts — something started to change.
I didn't change jobs. My schedule looks essentially the same from the outside. But I feel so much more aligned and at peace inside of it. More present. More like myself. More grateful for the ordinary days.
